Scriptwriting Competition

This competition is for original short film scripts of a maximum of 15 pages in length. The competition is open to any writer who has not previously had a feature film made or been commissioned to write a film script of any length.

The categories for the short film script writing competition are:

* Drama
* Comedy / Romantic Comedy
* Action / Crime
* Science Fiction / Fantasy
* Horror
* Animation

All scripts submitted will need to fall into one of these categories. The judging will be for each category and these winning scripts will be judged for the Best Overall Short Film Script.
Entries for the Short Film Script Writing competition will open later. You can download a submission form on the Download Submission Forms page and submit your script by post.
The entry fee is £20 for each film script. Writers may enter more than one film script if they wish.
